A labored 2-1 win. Not confident about Sunday, our players look tired, we got overran in midfield in the 2nd half. Still happy with the 3points. Giroud needs to start delivering and fast.

He wants too much time on the ball. Needs to sharpen up or he's gonna struggle.

Our worst performance this Season YET we still got all three points.

They say very good teams play badly and still win. That's what we have done.

We didn't play badly... not particularly good but sometimes you have to grind out a win. And we came from behind. Away from home.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I couldn't give a **** how we win - beautifully or Ugly - as long as we win <ok>

Away wins in Europe never comes easy for us, so any should be cherished to be fair.

The first half was ours, the second theirs. We didn't play badly, we were away to the french champions.

I don't know if us winning and City losing will bode well for us. Hopefully we won't be on the end of a backlash from City. Defensively, they look poor. The Ethihad is a fortress but as someone has stated, City will be knackered after that game (as are we) but let's hope we stick it to them hard (pause) this Sunday.

Glad that game's out of the way, probably the toughest fixture for us in the group stage.

Remy Cabella, despite being a bit of a cheat had a brilliant game, I thought. Far more than impressive than Belhanda.

True. Can't see Olympiakos or Schakle beating us.

Hello lads.. I'm beaming from ear to ear right now. A win for us and don't get it twisted. This was never an easy game but as mr piskey said a wins a win. Our form is looking very good right now and the way we have come back from a goal down on an away night in the CL is very impressive. What we need to do now is keep that momentum going. I'm running out of things to say about The Pod The guy is proving to be immense. Midfield looks fluid and even though song prevented a lot of attacks from the opposition he also broke down a lot of ours. I see that even more now.

Losing like they did, will hopefully have a negative effect on City. Hope we take advantage.

I can see us losing away at Schalke, the Veltins is a tough place to go to.

Ok never done this before but here's my player ratings:

Mannone - 8 (Did everything he needed to and made a couple of crucial saves)

Jenkinson - 6 (Was OK at best, looked a bit jaded in the 2nd half and didn't close down)

Mertesacker - 7 (Had a lot to do and was pretty well composed)

Vermaelen - 7 (Same, very busy night. Bit harsh on the pen)

Gibbs - 6 (Made some good forward play and did just about enough in the 2nd half)

Diaby - 7 (Looked really good in 1st half, fell away in the 2nd and lost possession)

Arteta-8 (Really held the midfield together, chased and tackled and kept us moving)

Cazorla -6 (Kept the ball moving well, tired in the 2nd half)

Gervinho - 8 (Ran all night, chased up and down the pitch, good energy and scored)

Podolski - 7 (Looked good in the 1st half, scored a goal, average 2nd half)

Giroud - 6 (worked hard all night, good link up play in 1st half, looked a bit lost 2nd)
