He even posted up a suffocation post....when i did my nut over it, i got accused behind PM of being unfair....because Saf has done worse <doh>

Yet Saf will tell anyone i jump all over him on that stuff when he's a bit down.

I don't disagree with that... I know I wouldn't. I've been there on a much better behaved forum and it was a lot of work. <laugh>

Would it help if you delegated Premier League mod to someone else so that you don't personally need to deal with the crap on here and can focus on supermodding?

Someone like @Libby or @BobbyD that gets along with everyone on here and has been around long enough you can trust them.

I think either one, or both of them would make good mods on here to help balance the load.

Why not me? Been here for a very long time

I’d make someone’s like Chief/Tobes the mod

Agree with you though...Brb could ease his work load but he has to help himself....making someone like DMD mod to piss off the locals isn’t going to work is it...that’s the only Mod experiment I can recall to date.

There's honestly quite a number of people who I think could do a good job, yourself included. I tried to think of who is the least offensive that no one could object to (not that you are but brb himself might object to you, the two of you haven't always seen eye to eye <laugh>). Libby and Bobby were just first two to come to mind as inoffensive to everyone, but there are others I'm sure.

Show him what he could have had if he wouldn't have had a stroke.

I don't know Chief but maybe you would let this pass on your club board....but that's now two points.

Then we then saw GC invaded. My inbox in the last week has been full of complaints. This on top of Aldo and Joe coming to a misunderstanding on Monkey's thread, one that I had to intervene on and resulted in two regular users of the forum getting banned to calm the situation. So that is now three points.

Then Monkey created the caption thread, it was clear poke at Sunderland fans....AND he even wrote this as a caption....Look fatha I've told you man I dont want to play football i want to have sex with children. Something was going on and Comm seemed to be targeted for an attack, and got me suspcious once again that monkey may not be who he seems.

Sorry if others find him amusing, but after numeorus warnings my patience run out, which I did give. I was then asked by an independent not involved in the Prem board, why I hadn't banned Monkey!?....I then realised on back of the previous complaints I had to do something.

I'm not really sure why I have to explain all this once again but people are not happy unless they are giving me sshite. I clear this forum of spam daily that would wipe out your club boards, i have to make judgements on who's genuine and who's not. I probably wouldn't be exaggerating if i said at least 30 potential socks have been made in the last two weeks. I like to enjoy the forum too and not deal with this shhite everyday. Maybe it's time to sit back and let this forum fall flat on it's face, then you might all realise the controls in place keeps this place what it is and if you don't believe me, ask @PISKIE (I think it was) what happened last time i overlooked a spammer in the net who looked genuine. I'll tell you...it wiped out his board and took me ages to clean up.

Edit; and monkey posted this up to mock, something that Captain Chaos got the blame for and it was nothing to do with him...

As I've said before, we all like a **** about on here, but I don't think people appreciate the headache it causes for you modding this place.

Quite liked Monkey and Allison, although Huggy was a bit of a twat. But yeah some of the stuff above is out of order.

And yes, it was me who asked you to ban than spam numpty that was creating 20 threads every 5 mins on the Arsenal board, nearly ****ing crashed the site <laugh>

That thread has tarnished a few people due to their political views.

I reckon Tobes is actually mature enough to be fair even on that thread if he had a ban hammer....unlike Dmd who went power crazy.

One person on that thread deserves a ban...that’s Pete for his spamming. No one needs banning for their political views

HuggyBear and Allison wonderland though baffle me. Neither seemed to cause any problems. Maybe they went over to GC once and caused a little trouble... But why not just ban them from there? I'm sure brb had his reasons.

They added to this forum and we really do need new blood here from time to time as it does get stale.

Chaos... Ok... Chaos is always a little chaotic, but he's been consistently chaotic and no worse than many. I've never had a problem with him.

It is what it is though unfortunately. I will say not one of the four of them were as bad as any of the GC lot.

I banned two people as a result of the newbies...so nothing was gained in membership interaction. You've all got the answers but dont have to deal with the crap, which why Syd left before me.

I remember being told once democracy is too time consuming, non of you guys would spend the amount of time i do being democratic about it....because it is VERY time consuming.
