Monk takes charge of training today , no announcement yet , Jenkins says changes must be made ...hum , there is an outside chance those changes mean Monk agrees to help and stays in chargeThe clue for me is the way Jenkins is quoted as saying "Something " needs to change .
He will be sacked by Royal approval....... I happened to pass Monk's home at 1:20 this afternoon, and Monk was getting a right earfull from his Mrs, he was glued to the pavement outside his drive with his Mrs downloading hug amounts of data to his reformatted hard drive, he looked clean out of memory if you ask me, looked like someone had wiped him clean, and his Mrs was reprogramming him big time? Look out Huw, your in for more 'chats'........
I don't believe Monk will be sacked, changes in the offing but will not include sacking of Monk. Why? Because those were the noises coming out of Liberty today.
I have stated a good number of times he will be kept on the coaching staff, but he will not stay as manager.........
Garry walks into Jenkins office on Monkday and Huw says "Listen Garry , it's either you take the help we demand on your staff or you're down the road son " .Without hesitation Monk says "Ok " .Jenkins says "Sounds good , I have to go to London tomorrow for my award but you take control of training tomorrow and we'll make an announcement on the plan and whose coming in and whose going out on you're staff on Wednesday " .Monk says "Sure thing , see you when you get back.
Rodgers would never work UNDER Monk , if Rodgers comes in , Monk goes out with a pocket full of Money.
Maybe he will become Cyril the Swan, which is the highest possible post within Swansea City, and everybody is happy.
And vice versa , Monk will never work under Rodgers , either or .The only way Monk will agree to help is if he's in charge , sorry to glance on you're post instead of reading it .
I'd have a hell of a lot of respect for him if he did this. It would be a way of showing that he needs to learn more etc.
