Has he spent all your money yet? Glad we got rid. We didn't have any money for him to spend, fortunately. Now that I see what he spends it on, I'm so glad we didn't have any. Or perhaps our owners decided they didn't have any when they heard who he wanted to sign.

Has anyone told him that it doesn't matter how much you spend, you still only get 11 players on the field? Yup, he's that thick!

I always understood the problem was he wanted to move to a bigger club with better resources, facilities AND MONEY
The stumbling block was obviously the signings Monk had in mind for MASSIVE Leeds, you simply couldnt afford, hence the reason for the unknown shi te that you are all getting excited about, even Google hasnt heard of half of them
I find it puzzling you are happy to be "well rid" but are commenting on here 10 weeks after he left?

Hi Snotty, To be fair we appreciated Monk, he did the honourable thing and left. He was unable to train the team so we started badly and he couldn't maintain momentum toward the end of the season so we missed out. You will be happy to be rid of him by Christmas ....enjoy

I think your result today underlines why we're so happy he's no longer with us. And he no longer has the excuse that he doesn't have money to spend nor the freedom to make his own signings. He's spent your money and you've got nowt, apart from getting poorer. Perhaps he's actually preparing you for a strong next season in L1. He's certainly got off to a good start for getting you there.

Any positives for you? Only that the only way is up! <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

That'll teach you to tap up our staff!

Fans from your managers previous club may have some insight on his merits or otherwise

My view:
- quick to blame others for failure
- not to be trusted buying players
- although I don't know what went wrong, something clearly did go wrong in the final third of the season, has to be primarily down to the manager. People say morale issues but really I don't know what went wrong
- for us, played very defensively with little flexibility of approach. That might work in the championship (though there's some doubt even on that) but heaven help anyone in the prem with that approach

Good luck, don't wish Monk great success but have nothing against Boro

Gibson poached Monk and we are glad he did, offered him a big pay packet and a budget for players to buy............anyway fck this lets take this up in the New Year.
