Not too disappointed as I feel he would have failed next season. Too many mistakes but would have been nice to see if he'd learnt from them.

Also he never seemed here for the long haul and was using us as a free hit to try and enhance his reputation.

As far as I'm concerned he can G...F...H as he had a chance to achieve legendary status with us and he's walked away.
I like this reply says it all.

Took the words out my mouth jammy, I always felt there was something wrong with him, didn't make sense how he run the team and had them playing the way they did most of season....:emoticon-0148-yes:

Radz is doing the right things, signed Vieira to 4 years, looking to buy Elland Road back asap, planning on building a Technical Centre next to ER ... Monk has clearly been tapped up, offered a king's ransom in wages and a treasure chest of cash to buy players ... I would think Sunderland or Boro, possibly Palace ... he will jump at Palace as it's an immediate move to the Prem

Monk hasn't left because he's unhappy, he's left because he's got something else lined up with his wages trebbled ... that's football, it happens, and while we are in the Championship we will continue to be at the mercy of Prem clubs and parachute relegations ... Monk was good for Leeds, and as someone else has stated he could have become a legend ... as always, time will tell

one thing I'm sure of, Radz and his new management team are a bit too professional to hire another Hockaday or Evans ... there will be no shortage of CVs to sift through, because Leeds is still seen as one of the great clubs to manage ... going to be very interesting to see who makes the shortlist, and I don't think an Italian is guaranteed to be next in

bye bye Monk, thanks for your efforts and for bringing a more professional approach to Leeds, but I can't wait for your return to ER when your team gets hammered 4-0 and you wonder what could have been

Ironic that Monk lasted over a year under Cellino but only a few days under Radz

not really, Monk has had his head turned ... unfortunate but so it goes ... now Radz is really going to be tested, as he would have felt his manager was in place and all the focus would be on building the squad needed for a promotion push ... I like the fact that Radz hasn't thrown a tantrum, and simply stated that "nobody is bigger than the club" ... as always, never a dull moment at Leeds

Could signal Pontus and Wood leaving as they seemed to think very highly of Monk
would think monk will try to take some players with him , yes your right new owner sounds like he was only going to offer 1 year deal , then extend it if we did ok which i can understand as we did not get into play offs but i would have also said to monk we will pay you what any club out there is offering , i did think he would , lots of clubs after him and we did not get his contract sorted during season , now the search for another one that can do better than him , it said in news monk put his resignation in , bet new owner did not say to him will match any club out there on wages for you but to be honest we should have signed him up after christmas AS USUAL WE DO THINGS TOO LATE !! what about ex leicester city boss ranerri he got leicester premier title and He's ITALIAN !!
