**** sake, players need to earn the right to get in the team. And if Huw didn't want him out on loan, why didn't he block it?
Reading that, it seems like Monk might be manager next season <yikes>

More spin from Huw and Monk to discredit Laudrup.

It appears there are too many hidden and not so hidden agendas , we've come a long way but we haven't left some really rank & amateurish habits behind .

Heard rumours before the Norwich game that Curt is calling it a day at the end of the season.
Typically from a man who woks with someone who know AC but it seemed an odd thing to say - really out of the blue.
Hope it's not true as I think Curtis is a much bigger and better man than anyone else at the club.

If Ashley Williams can concentrate on his game and is a good boy of the pitch I'd have him any day - but not when his mind is elsewhere and it certainly seems to have been since Palace away.
As for Chico - I really don;t care what he wears as long as he keeps on being top quality for the Swans.
From listening to Cardiff fans and reporters home and away Caulker has gone backwards at a rate of knots and only the occasional goal has kept his profile high - shocking defender by their reckoning.
We have Bartley Amat Chico and only Williams who needs to prove himself.
As for Jonathan Williams could be great for us but at 5' 6" he's not going to oust Ash or Chico.

You really seem to have problem with foreign players - Spaniards in particular.
Unfortunately buying British would be incredibly expensive and would inevitably lead us to play the same dross as Hull, Stoke, Cardiff etc as the players are technically inept.

I thought Jonathan Williams was a midfield player or am I confusing Bob's player with somebody else.

Yes, to be replaced by youth coach Neil Adams.

Solskaer and Poyet to be sacked tomorrow.

Well it'll be true one day and why not now I hope it's with good grace between all parties, he'll be in his 60's soon ? so maybe he feels the timing is right for him and his family , it'll be a big loss to the club and us , a very unassuming humble man imo and one link between the club and us removed if true .

Thought I read earlier a post suggesting getting rid of Chico and Ash and buying J Williams.
Which the point I was making in a sarcastic way.

Only JDG and Chico. Don't rate them, or haven't impressed me in the past. Please provide evidence over the past two years where I have a problem with foreign players, especially Spaniards. What a silly accusation to make. By that assumption, I'd also have a problem with Vorm, Leon, Routs, Dyer Poz etc

Why roof, do you rate Ash at the moment? He's been piss poor for a long time now. As for Chico, I know I'm in the minority, but I see him as a poor mans David Luiz.

Everton and Liverpool seem to have plenty of British players playing our type of football. Everybody can learn a new style of play. Everton players are the proof of this.

Surely an ambassador's role is eventually on the cards for Alan Curtis, much like Cliff Jones has at Spurs'. Can't imagine the Club without AC in some role or other.

I'd like to see Curtis with the academy, making sure the youngsters appreciate the traditions and values of the club.

When Curt was sacked by Kenny Jacket, he was given an ambassadorial role within the club. When Jacket left Curt resumed his coaching role. He'll always have a job at the club for as long as he wants it, no doubt about it.
