Okay we are sounding out a few options, but the front runner at the minute is Italian, but it is all down to how negotiations develop, Rodgers is in the mix too, that's all I know, so I'm sure you can find the name of the Italian it's out there today in the media, I was told last Friday.............
I cant stand the suspense anymore please, please, please HJ sack him and make some sort of announcement.
Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick. Wish there was some way of making Jenkins Tock . I've heard of keeping you're hand close to you're vest but Jenkins must be massaging his own heart. Come on Huw , give us a clue..
It did say on the radio earlier that they were to have a meeting to discuss the current situation at the Swans. What the **** is there to discuss, just call him in and tell him he is sacked.
They want to let Monk down gently, understandable I suppose, he's been at the club for over 10 years, this one will be difficult for the board...........
It shouldn't be though phil, put the boot on the other foot and a big club came in for him and he wouldn't give two hoots he would have been off. Yes it is sad that someone who has been at the club is to be let go but that is the nature of the business and when he took the job on he knew it would be the end of his Swansea relationship if he failed and he has.
OPTION 1: [Monk arrives, lower lip already quivering] HJ: "Sit down, Gary. Now you know this is a results game....[Monk's lip now quivers uncontrollably] .....so we've decided to let you go....[Monk starts crying and his lip is a blur].......to the toilet whilst we talk about where we go from here as a Club. [Monk calms down and leaves the room] It's no good boys, I just can't do it." OPTION 2: [Via text] "**** off, you're sacked you useless ginger twat. We're getting someone in who knows what he's doing". I suspect it'll be somewhere between the two. But he HAS to go.
Well would it matter if you or I too over for Saturday we would do no worse. There are a lot of people at the club who could cover for the one game.
Todays meeting was all about how they will manoeuvre Monks exit, he was called to give his view, but have no fear, he's history............ Do not listen to Jenkins smoke and mirrors regarding no announcement, it will come.
Each day this goes on , the more it's apt it is to go on ....looks like maybe Monk is putting his personal pictures back on that desk Phil ...
Phil I hope you don't speak with forked tongue and this does happen sooner rather than later. We are doomed if he stays any longer, Saturday showed us that.
Nice to see monk and huw had their regular 'chat'. Hope they had tea and biscuits in front of the crackling fire!! http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35032128
