Huw Jenkins do you have the humility to go out and get the best available replacement rather than the cheap and convenient one?



PS: I hope Monks contract is performance based, if not pay him off from the Boards own back pocket.

Agreed Phil. It was always a big ask to throw a rookie into the Prem but he shut a few of us up and was given credit for that. But enough is enough. I've already posted that I'd give Rodgers a call but I know that's not popular with some fans. He knows the Club inside out and it would be a seamless transition, even if it was a short term contract with a view to keeping us up. I dread Moyes, but I've been wrong before.

Agreed, it was a very big ask of Monk at this level, and last year was indeed vindication for Huw, but this season couldn't be more of a contrast, with the dressing room now shot of any confidence, and at times today it got very embarrassing on the field, Gomiss is now clearly a big flop, and a complete wast of money, he should be relegated to the bench as an impact player until we offload him, total dross today........<ok>

There's quite a few of you guys that normally set up camp on the Sunderland board taking the piss but I haven't seen you there for a while. What's up, are you guys **** now too? Surely not.

Not as seamless as you think .Rodgers came into the club already playing a system and with a few tweaks made a success , now we're in disarray , players not playing for each other , no system as such , players fighting each other , a much bigger task
