NOW! That was the most gutless inept performance I've ever had the privilege to watch, and take your garbage coaching staff with you. Huw Jenkins do you have the humility to go out and get the best available replacement rather than the cheap and convenient one? PS: I hope Monks contract is performance based, if not pay him off from the Boards own back pocket.
Agreed Phil. It was always a big ask to throw a rookie into the Prem but he shut a few of us up and was given credit for that. But enough is enough. I've already posted that I'd give Rodgers a call but I know that's not popular with some fans. He knows the Club inside out and it would be a seamless transition, even if it was a short term contract with a view to keeping us up. I dread Moyes, but I've been wrong before.
For all the guff about "working really hard in training" does anyone else notice how out of step the players are with each other?
Agreed, it was a very big ask of Monk at this level, and last year was indeed vindication for Huw, but this season couldn't be more of a contrast, with the dressing room now shot of any confidence, and at times today it got very embarrassing on the field, Gomiss is now clearly a big flop, and a complete wast of money, he should be relegated to the bench as an impact player until we offload him, total dross today........
There's quite a few of you guys that normally set up camp on the Sunderland board taking the piss but I haven't seen you there for a while. What's up, are you guys **** now too? Surely not.
Not as seamless as you think .Rodgers came into the club already playing a system and with a few tweaks made a success , now we're in disarray , players not playing for each other , no system as such , players fighting each other , a much bigger task
If he does get sacked I doubt he will be restricted from saying his goodbyes to the club and staff ....Jenkins should join him on an imaginary trip to France while a replacement if found for both .
Wonder what Dyer thought to himself of the game today Quote from Monk today "I'm a better manager now than I was at anytime last season " ....If these bad results make him a stronger manager like he said a few weeks ago , he must be absolutely Herculean by now
He's history, take it from me, he is under so much pressure these last few weeks he can no longer think straight, and it showed big time today.........
Well I hope it's tomorrow then, I'm off to church in the morning to pray that Huw get shoot of him, before it's too late.
