    <doh>Certifiable

Just one, because I'm only human and can't resist.

"There is one thing that has not gone to well however and that is the discipline side of things and that must improve as it is costing us games with players missing when we need them, "

    Disciplined Monk -
.."and last night at Field Mill they blew another chance, with Garry Monk seeing red for the third time this season.
Monk's dismissal, for two bookable offences in the second half, may not have been the major contributing factor to this Swansea defeat.
But the suspension, which could keep him out for three matches following his sendings-off at Yeovil and Shrewsbury, could mean the difference between going up or staying down. Jackett will certainly want to keep a check on his side's disciplinary problems between now and the end of the season."

Monk effectively coming down on player indiscipline -
'Publicly warned about his poor discipline before the game by manager Garry Monk, Jonjo Shelvey paid little notice during the game and the midfielder was incredibly fortunate to stay on the pitch after he elbowed Emre Can.'

Last month, Monk was involved in a training ground bust-up with Swansea's Spanish defender Chico Flores that led to police being called.

Weren't we top of the good discipline stakes when ML was in charge?

Bob ... I can but advise you not to keep banging your head <doh> because that's how he got the way he his - persistent brain trauma.

I guess what you're saying is Monky see Monky do.

We were top of the fair play league, but with our disciplinary record as it is now, any outsider would think that we're a bad version of Stoke. Gone it seems is our ability to push pretty passes to move the ball around the field. Against Fulham three seasons ago when we gave them a master class in total football at Craven Cottage we scored one goal after a sequence of 40+ passes and the commentators were in awe of the passing sequences of 20 to 30 passes we were putting together to deny Fulham any whiff of the ball for minutes on end. That match was one of the most beautiful displays of passing perfection I have ever seen.

We're the new Stoke .... but without the muscle.

a bit early to hit the bottle don't you think  but in answer to you , we had until very recently someone who was quick, prepared to receive and make runs behind the full backs but he's gone awol .

I really don't understand what has happened to both Routs and Dyer. At the end of October, they were both touted for England call ups. The way they're playing atm, I'd coax Ryan Giggs out of retirement.
As for hitting the bottle early, teaching teenagers has that affect on you sometimes ;)
