Well we might as well give up now then. Man City could have said that just 6 years ago with Stuart Pearce as manager when they finished 14th having lost 18 games that season a season that saw then lose to Blackburn at Home 3-0 and 4-0 away to Wigan ... take note also that they had a certain Joey Barton playing for them .... Six years on they then beat Man Utd 6-1 at OT. 6 years ago Man City were 4 points away from being relegated ... the teams that went down that year: Sheffield Utd, Watford and Charlton In six years time then we could be playing to 40,000 fans in the bloody champions league.... things are changing, tactics are changing the game is changing. Newcastle players think they can win it this season. We need consistent experienced players ... oh we have them so we could be the surprise package. I f you look at the QPR team now its looking solid and i for one will be pissed off if we don't perform as for these players its their last shot at glory maybe
