So, back to the football...... I can't see any justification in this outcry about the World Cup being played in the autumn/winter. It just smacks of the European clubs and leagues trying to throw their weight around. It's supposed to be the WORLD cup for goodness sake! Perhaps we should just stop inviting the rest of the world to play in it?
Sorry, I may have derailed it quite a bit. My issues isn't with the changing of the dates, it's with FIFA as a whole and the fact that since the initial outcry of corruption, nothing has really been done. Qatar and Russia should be stripped of the world cups and countries with the actually decent infrastructure should take them instead.
