I have a suspicion today could be the day, which means we will likely not achieve a single place. But I am going in with confidence today as 3 of the 5 were selections I picked out on form last night (although sadly did not back) that have shortened this morning, meaning we have them on a at least two factors of form and money. I think trebles, fourfolds and a fivefold for fun stakes.

    Lingfield
1.25 Sir Charlie Kunz 11-8 (this must drift) 2nd 10-11
    3.10 Naahbega 5-1 last 8-1
    3.45 Half a sixpence 7-2 Unplaced 3-1
    Ascot
    12.40 Handiwork 6-4 2nd 11-8
    1.15 Kingcora 5-2 2nd 2-1

Apologies Stick I have not had a browse over the daily thread, I have rectified that now and will be watching with Interest to see a coup landed. It does feature on Oddschecker but much further down the list than those chosen today. Its been shocking so far with 2 seconds and a third. The huge mover and most obvious money to follow was the Johnston horse at Lingfield but was sadly thwarted only by a superb ride by Martin Lane on the winner. Another shout must go out for Liam Treadwell on Kingcora from our list who really had no right to finish so poor was his jumping. He had the horse looking like the winner at the last only for his poor jumping to take its toll on the run in, great jockeyship in defeat however.

Actually Stick I have just looked at your Taunton race and have to say that connections are braver than I to take on that favourite. Scooted up on Thursday and looks handicapped to be beginning a sequence. Possible chance for the big punt however on grounds of the race coming too soon as to have run so soon on heavy ground is quite an ask. I think if it were my horse and ready to go in I would have looked for something without such an obvious threat.

TBH Bluesky I only went for mine because I thought they were asking a lot turning the jolly out so quickly but he hosed up. Wouldn't be surprised to see him out again in midweek!

Just been looking at Market Movers on ATR site Blue. Might be worth analysing the steamers and drifters, particularly the major ones. Is there any site that does this?

I don't think there is a site that does the analysis for you but the one that I use to look up the movers is oddschecker. I had hoped for the last few days to provide more winners actually, having said that it did indeed produce results in regards horse trying their best which is clear through the number of placed selections we just needed one or two to get their head in fron to show a profit however.

    the stats are as follows
    20 horse selected
    3 winners
    7 2nd places
    1 3rd place
    6 unplaced
    1 faller
    1 withdrawn

Roughly averaging a price of 7-2
