dont get how gyan is a money grabber for moving. the rules of a loan is that the club loaning the player pick up the contract for the agreed length of time.

so surely he will only be earning the same amount of £££ over there.

Not necessarally (excuse spelling) the team hes gone on loan to can pay him whatever they want in effect they can double his current wage to secure the loan move if they see fit....which you can bet yer bollocks they have...after all why play in a country with those conditions ? Can only be for the money

I think the betrayal is worse than about money. Its worse because he didnt want to get his head down a work to regain his team. he'd rather go and play in the heat where hes gonna have an easy time palying a lower standard of football. Thats what pisses me off.

ah i didnt realise it worked like that. i always thought it was strictly the original contract had to be honoured in some way.

makes sense tho especially if its sponsorship & appearance fees etc

When they come to your club (whichever club it happens to be) they're professionals. When they leave, they're money-grabbers. When they say they're proud to come to your club, they're good sincere lads. When they say exactly the same at their next club, they're judas, traitor, b**tard, etc. At the end of the day, it's all just public relations - it's what professionals do, it's what they're meant to say so they say it.

It's the way of the world.

****ing hell man we should be howling at that SGC :emoticon-0102-bigsmas Nolan and Barton and Caroll and Enrique and even Lua Lua jumped ship with them ****ers and joined clubs with more ambition :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Watching the manager interviews before the game SB said he would talk about Gyan after the game, he did say Gyan got his wish.

So Gyan wanted out

Gyan is not a stand alone striker, and was probably rightly cheesed of with that being his role. That is not his fault. Give a good worker decent tools.

Its the money thing that is ringing my alarm bells. We have to raise our minimum.

Pay championship wages, you keep championship players.

Get real!

The C U N T wanted more money so this Arab outfit will be paying the wages we paid him plus double, their rich as **** mate over there!

Hes a money grabbin C U N T and Bruce is a **** manager end off, we need to get rid, hes ****in clueless!

I do hear what you are saying bobby but Quinn cannot pay players with cash that just isnt there, I believe our wages are 85% of our turnover (Man U`s are 45% as an example). We need more cash coming into the club, before we can increase our wage structure.

there is no income tax in UAE so even if he is on the same money, its almost like getting a 40% payrise.

This isn't about Arab money. According to Bruce on SAFC.com, Gyan hasn't been right for months. Gyan had probably never even heard of Al Ain then. Arab money might have solved the problem, but it didn't cause it.

I will correct myself.

I remove the word bastard. Stand by the rest.

Totally uncalled for and I hope a mod deals with it appropriately..... Get a grip.... yes we are pissed that he has gone, yes we loved him and wanted that back, but at the end of the day it is football.... are you seriously telling me that you would not leave your current employer if you were offered the same job on at leats double the wage. Respect the mans decision, move on, and keep the racism out of here....

And I hope they deal with spineless ****s like you as well you sad twat.

At least I have the balls to speak my mind.

Getting banned is the least of my problems you daft ****.

Its not Gyan's fault. He wants more money.

It's not Bruce's fault. He wants the best team.

Its not Short's fault. He just listens to Quinn.

It's Quinn's fault.
