I've not said he's better than him just because of this season, I've watched the lad naturally progress for 4 years now. I argued with a **** nugget from the Toon board about 3 years ago on here, who told me not to mention Mignolet in the same sentence as De Gea, for the fact that 'The Mig' was better by miles. I said De Gea will come good, he has, he's 23 and finally I can say he's better than (29 year old) Neuer. He's ironing out his flaws, he hasn't even an ounce of ego about him and if you want to talk about another angle here goes... distribution. The kid puts 60 yard passes onto players chests, feet, heads, effortlessly, every time. No keeper in the world gets anywhere near him, for distribution. Neuer's a class keeper, world class, no doubt about it, I'm not saying he's crap by any stretch, he's just got a clown in him that's dying to get out. No way on earth would I swap DDG for Neuer, no matter how many times you tell me he was shortlisted and ultimately didn't win The Ballon d'Or.
To be honest WP, on this occasion I'd fully expect more people to agree with you than me, the stats will probably be stacked in your favour. The things MOTD don't show, I take in during every game at Old Trafford, there's obviously bias to my opinion that I wouldn't expect you to accept.
