A loss might've taken the fight out of them, but it's still two points gained, and our six point lead restored. Would have taken that with glee this morning.
Got to hand it to the hammers, they don't know when they're beaten. That's a valuable two points dropped as far as we're concerned though.
I can't help wondering why we put ourselves through this every week. Why don't we just go for a walk or something? Feels pretty good now though.
It's hard to disagree with that. But with the way that today has gone, I would happily take a point on Friday. No pressure to win it any more.
True.. If anyone offered me now that we would be promoted.. I would certainly take it.. but, With cortese's and Southampton consistent effort all season.. They deserve the trophy!
Funny old game - 2 days ago I was all depressed, now I`m back to thinking about being on the pitch after the Coventry game. Come on you Sinners !
I think that this is probably a fair shout but I am in no doubts as to how difficult this match will be. A draw will still be a good result in my opinion but it is starting to look like West Ham's automatic bid is now getting beyond their control. A victory against Reading would make things interesting for the second automatic play-off place. Finger's crossed.
Rickie said it would be dangerous to think that the winner on Friday will win the title. It could be followed up by a loss and throw all the good work away. Sounds like he pays close attention when Nigel talks.
Never get too high when we win, or too low when we loseâ¢. Of course, the phrase just couldn't be catchy if you included how you're supposed to behave if you draw. However, I think there is the exception on the winning front where you can go ballistic after any game in which things become mathematically and positively certain. Hopefully, that'll be two massive celebrations for the fans in the coming couple of weeks.
