Good point. I didn´t realise that West Ham would have still have 4 games left after the Reading match, not 3. Well, hopefully Brighton can do us a favour on Saturday.... I don´t see West Ham coming back from 2-0 down against Brum though. Has been a great day for us so far!
If Brum fail in promotion, we should buy Burke, he has looked very good this season. Wow, me getting ahead of myself, you don't see that every day!
If it comes to that, it's rather difficult to imagine that i) West Ham will then win four straight against teams that are all still playing for something, and ii) we will fail to eke out five points in four games. Should West Ham fail to rescue this one, think there's only one answer.
I´ll rephrase that....I don´t see West Ham coming back from 3-1 down....haha Love it that they are so sh*t at home. I don´t think they will get promoted via play-offs so I think it might be another season for them in the championship.
If this result stays the same, I really can't see us not picking up 5 points from the 2 Boro's away, and Reading and Cov at home....this is unreal...we are actually nearly there...
This is a brilliant day (trust it doesn't change)...even our goal difference is improving over WH.....
Indeed Amazingly, this might not do too much damage to WH's automatic hopes, as it's not unthinkable that Reading could slip up away to Brighton and then ourselves this week. Say Reading only pick up one point from these two games, then WH would close the gap to just two points were they to win on Saturday. But what this result surely does do, assuming they do lose, is end their chances of catching us. Surely.
Seven goals conceded in WH's last 1.5 home games. I think Big Sam might need to stop banging on about how bad his strikers are at scoring, and start looking at that "defence" of his.
