I have a very strong bet for tomorrow but unfortunately it runs in the very last race of the day.

Windsor
8.00 Bin Singspiel 11-4

This horse was expected to win with ease on it's first outing this year but failed to do so being beat 1 length into second. This horse is very unexposed and I feel will take this race without trouble. He was doing his best work late on in the earlier race and I fully expect this extra furlong and a half, dryer ground and the benefit of a run to mean this horse can take a grade 5 handicap. Take the best price as soon as you can would be my advice, with best odds if possible. I have taken 5-2 with Bet 365 which is best odds guaranteed, but it is available at 11-4 with Paddy Power.

Non runner now Bluesky

It's Monday, it's Windsor, is it The Hughes and Hannon Show?

So I see the forums favourite Corinthian could get the leg up in next seasons PPGC. Do we think he would have held off the forums favourite ginger had STD not fallen at the last on Saturday?

No I doubt it, Changing Times was trading at 1/10 in running going to the last, which tells you everything you need to know

afternoon folks.I'm thinking of participating in the paddy power special for the fly/quevega & sir de champs all to win at 12s.My only concern out of the three is sir de champs v long run.Is anyone running a punchy tipping competition, always a good laugh.

I'd worry about SDC as I don't think there's alot between him, Long Run and First Lieutenant. In fact SDC lost to First Lieutenant last time they raced

Yes he did but First Lieutenant is a lot better on good ground and i'd be surprised if he produced a performance capable of beating SDC on soft.

At Leopardstown in the Lexus, the ground was soft. SDC finished 4th, First Lieutenant finished 2nd. SDC is a serial loser, and the only time he won a race this season, was against that hound Flemenstar. SDC is bound to find 1 to good, as he usually does

I knew you'd make that point. I backed and tipped up First Lieutenant that day at double figures and was gutted he came second. Seemed to idle a little when it looked like he'd won the race. I've followed FL his entire career and can say 100% he is not as good on soft ground as he is when he can hear his hooves rattle the ground.

I much prefer FL as a horse to SDC but there's way more in SDC's favour this week. FL is usually a value bet but at 4/1 he isn't this time.

That's not the point I was disputing Bob, I would agree First Lieutenant is better on good ground, but he's still beat SDC on soft this season. So he is capable of doing it again.

Are you sure the goings going to be soft at Punchestown? It is April after all

Going through the grade ones this is what I think will take the beat ing on first glance.

Champagne Fever
Sprinter Sacre
Boston Bob - i can't forget how good he was on heavy as a hurdler - if it's heavy he'll kill this lot.

That's fair but there were a couple of excuses for SDC that day. Basically if FL wins after tough races at Cheltenham and Aintree on soft ground i'd be gobsmacked.
