Musselburgh 1.45 Tokaramore

Likes it around Musselburgh (course form 2231) and is on a good mark. Stable had 2 winners yesterday and I guess Conor O'Farrell could have chosen Definite Wisdom in this race (has ridden the horse last 4 runs). So I think the Jardine yard expects a big run.

Plumpton 2.35 Glockenspiel

A winner for Andre Farbe/Godolphin in france on ground described very soft. First 2 runs over hurdles for Tom George in testing conditions were promising. Today is the 2nd run after a wind surgery and the step in trip on heavy ground could unlock some improvement. Plumpton is a track where you seldom see runners from the Tom George yard but he has encouraging stats for each way purposes. So hopefully Glockenspiel reaches a place at least.

you think the jockey will get a tune out of him today?

DEFINITE WISDOM 9/2 Muss 2:45
I am sure there is more to come from this lightly raced 7yo. He didnt progress from his win last season but I expect there was a valid reason. Has has a pipe opener to put him straight and races in a first time visor. In a race that doesnt look overly competitive he could be a handicap blot. We shall see. <ok>

Sorry, couldn't resist. Should introduce myself as new poster, but long-time reader. Thanks to all that put in the hard work here - and pick out some winners.

Well your first post struck a chime with me. Welcome!!

I am giving Northern Poet a final chance today, if he got stuck in the mud last time (time suggests the official going description is wrong), and can return to the form he showed in novice company then I think this handicap mark is very generous. I am not a big fan of the lad riding but I thought he was a well handicapped horse.

Peterborough chase moved to Cheltenham. I guess we might see Altior at Cheltenham on Friday. Unless of course, there is something different than the ground that is the problem.

and as quick as that, Henderson states he won't enter Altior in the Cheltenham Peterborough Chase.

He ran well, and I am still not a fan of the jockey. 10/1 was big at SP, so happy enough with a return on the each way market. The winner went wide, be interesting to see if more do that from now on.
