My sister just called me to asked if I want to go to Towcester for the racing on St Stephen's Day. Anyone else got any plans to go to one of the 349 meetings taking place that day?
RV its like getting the vertically challenged lead in "Lifes Too Short" to do the high jumps in the olympics. Starluck back over hurdles please!!!!!
Nass watching this thing on SSN - Man Utd under 12s winning some sort of european cup. Full on 6ft blokes chanting songs and stuff oo dear
After yesterday's draw they wont be winning anything else this season so they may as well make the most of it.
Sam Sharp looks a big price at 12-1 in the opener at Plumpton - anyone agree ? - was decent on flat and has joined a good yard since leaving Cecil a while back. Been running ok on flat as well . Best leave it though because of poor weekend backing more than I should have. Will just stick with my two bets today
Was looking at that one last night mate - as I said above there are some decent types in the race. The Tom Symonds runner was with Dascombe on the flat, Trip The Light with Fahey, Webber started Tindaro on the flat in a class 3 at Newmarket, Crunched with Michael Bell won off 70 at Donny.
Yeah, I only picked Trip The Light cos he has McCoy on. He's had 2 claimers up top so far and I think the champ will get some extra out of him today
Odddy my lad that Sam Sharp looks like a plot horse to me - didn't get touched. Glad I decided to leave it
Agreed RV - not much strength in depth in that 12.50 race and with Maguire up top BP should go very close
Afternoon, one and all. Ain't been on for a few days but must say that the news re Tataniano on Friday afternoon was really disappointing and another blow for a horse who has not had the best of luck since completing his novice term. His Chepstow run, last time, hinted at just what he is capable of and I really, really hope that when Tatanaino does comeback he remains in that sort of form. At least he still has time on his side. ‘No bet’ for me today although I must say that the concluding bumper at Plumpton today looks exceptional with a few supposed good ‘uns in attendance. I though couldn’t decide on an outright winner and so have left the heat alone because as one wise old sage once said to me, ‘If in doubt, back nowt’. Keep a close eye on the race though. Good luck to all those who are wager today.
