Really early notice on this one. This comes with a wealth warning. I was talking to one of the connections of this at Sandown and I got the impression he was a little bit exasperated as this three year old has ability but may have a little bit of an attitude problem. They are stepping him up in trip to seven furlongs having run exclusively over five and six.

Looking on SportingLife.com’s racecard, they have this as favourite: Brighton 5:00 ZAVICON

Looks like a Wigham gamble on MANSFIELD in this race, not a yard that usually fail with their plots!

MUSICAL THEATRE 8/1 Brighton 2:00
Dam was a juvenile winner and full brother was a 100 rated juvenile winner for Andre Fabre. The yard are having a cracking season and won this race last season with a debutante.

Morning, crew. Nothing for me today but my regular readers may wish to note that the unraced 2YO I’ve spoken about before, HERCULEAN, has been given an entry. The full brother to Fair Eva looks set to make his debut, in a 7 furlong maiden, at Ascot on Friday. Ryan Moore has been booked. Meanwhile, for those optimists amongst us 50/1 is available re Herculean and the 2018 2,000 Guineas.

As stated last week FAIR EVA, what a lovely name for a filly by the way, will return next week in Doncaster’s ‘Sceptre Stakes’.

Good luck, troops.

Think I know which one it is, Cyc, but won't back it in case I'm wrong..........<laugh>

Well, Selling Handicaps are not races to bet on (unless one receives a really hot piece of information, even then, dodgy), and all have QM's wealth warnings. However, for interest in a bit of a dull day, will have just a bit e/w on Hurricane Alert in the 2:30 at Brighton. Form not so terrible in the context of this event, and the drop to a Seller is interesting. Good apprentice booked.

Oh well, scrub the damn picture anyway. Disappointing. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Hope everyone is well, nice to be back.
Well, I got through the 6 weeks school holidays unscathed; or should I say, the children did!
Had a nice few hours on Seaton Carew beach on Saturday morning; never said that before, and didn't take a canoe.

As for today, well, as I've had a break I'm itching to get started, so will plump for some value with a couple of Hannon horses across the openers.
Windsor 1.50 - Sergio Leone ( spoiled by 4 non runners, could be cash out time )
Brighton 2.00 - Lady Godiva
Anything could happen after that.

Interested to see how Muatadel gets on in the 5f Class 3 at Ripon, 3.40, too.

Good Luck to all.

Lester Kris in the next at Windsor (2:50) and that will do for me today, for sure! :emoticon-0100-smile

Oh well, done by Frank! <laugh>
