The thing i always find with Bin Suroor is if he is at the course it wins. Did it the other day at Windsor, he went there so i stuck both in a double, and both won, both were around 5s, he said the 2nd one was his best chance and it won by about 5 lenghts from the favorite and 2nd favorite. Same at Sandown in July, saw him there and he had one runner at about 4/1 think it was called Tha'ir, duly lumped on and it hosed it. But he did have one at Newbury one time and he didn't bother going and it was 8/11 and duly lost. So check to see if he's there, if he is it's a lump on job
Chepstow all odds taken about an hour ago so may vary 320 hillgrove angel 5/1 hill loves a bit of cut ,Tom Marquand operates at 27.27%s/r here and 42.86%s/r with Evans . So to big to ignore. 430 polar forest 6s just way to big for conditions 505 sir domino took 7s just missed 8s K A Ryan has managed to get the services of 6f specialist F Norton who operates with a 20.67%s/r here . After watching the good sir domino replays it looks way to big in these conditions so I can forgive the last couple of runs. 535bounty of berista Chris Meehan was quite impressive over 8f here in heavy conditions onboard bounty . Today he gets a 7lb claim which looks like a very shrewd move by trainer Baker especially with the drop back in trip . 4s way to big 605 monsieure valentino 4s good luck all who play
It's interesting to note that The Informer won after the hood he had previously worn, was left off . . . . . better off at the weights with Mr Mulliner today, ground should be a plus and the hood remains off.
Here's to a long and happy retirement for Hurricane Fly! He put a few bob in my pocket over the years.
I'm investing a bit of the previous winnings on Johnson's second string Muhadathat in the next at ripon 3:45 although it is on the drift now out to 10's
A legendary character Cyc. A fascinating personality, does a hell of a lot of charity work, setting up his own one to help children in Africa. His book is called Giving a Little Back is an excellent read but hard to pick up nowadays. Plenty have tried to replicate his 'coups' but few were as successful as old Barney!
Well done Ste and Mick ....................... "Wor Lass", lovely name for a mare, bound to win at Newcastle
