Stonecutter was up half a mile in trip for his handicap win though, Elysian fields was in the race all the way and finished a nose behind Squire, got a mark of 65 before winning his maiden. As I said, Im not saying 70 is beyond him, looking at that first run he is certainly going to be competitive off that mark, just think it was a bit harsh for an opening mark all form considered.
