I haven't been on the site or punting lately after some ridiculously bad luck over the Christmas period with regard punting which just knocked my faith in laying out the hard earned, but I wanted to come on and wish you all the best for tomorrow Stick. I have just put a token twenty on but more than that wish you success as I know what it would mean to you. Speaking from an unbiased race reading point of view I would say you have an awful lot going for you and even were I not aware of Squire through yourself I would still either be backing him or staying out because of his potential. There are dangers as there always will be, but most in the field are pretty exposed, which is one thing your horse is certainly not. Ze King could find the form of a few races back when he looked sure to not remain a maiden for long, Apache glory is talented at his level and coming back to form, but I feel not quite tomorrow (but soon), which leaves Dream Ruler as the most significant threat, it's a proper threat but I think you have the form, you have the draw and you have the jockey, so go and win your race and enjoy every moment of it. Good luck.
Good luck stick/don with squire hope the wind op has helped and he breezes to the winners enclosure for you both....and the forum of course
bleeding hell it was hard to get money on. Done it now though. Best of luck chaps. Praying it comes off for you.
All the best Squire, me old love. And good luck to the horse as well. Boom Boom. In all seriousness though, if my regular readers will allow that for a moment, the old boy should go very well off what would appear not a particularly harsh perch. I think a few people could be due a trip to the ‘payout window’ laters.
Most popular bet onOddschecker this morning. Seems even the forums cat is on. Remember when he wins, thank me not Stick
Thanks for all the kind words and good luck messages. Stick has summed it up perfectly, from the horses mouth! Fingers crossed he gets a clear run and comes home safe and sound
Must say I'm a bit surprised at the price of Squire, I expected him to be a bit longer, but obviously he's considered a live chance. Go the boys.
Tough start to handicapping there for Squire - got a bit trapped on the fence - snatched up a bit early on .. just couldn't nick a place on the line fro the each way thieves .. but on the plus side seem sto have got home safe and sound to try another day .. It will be interesting to see what the jockey made of it ..
Shame there lads but, as Eck said, at least he came back safe and sound so you can have another crack. I like Kings request in the next at lingfield which probably means it will cross the line first - in the 3-45.....
Squire certainly didn't get a particularly good run, very much worth another crack or two............... Had a bit e/w at 12/1 on Sea Tiger in the last at Lingfield (16:20). Big 'ifs', but if pace is a strong one and he gets a clear run from his rail position, has a chance. (Blooming 'eck - 4th )
