:emoticon-0100-smile Good to have an occasional winner again, Ron, but to be honest, it has been a bit up and down the last couple of weeks. One or two which I really fancied blewed-out completely! :emoticon-0101-sadsm

All the best SimonJ. Auld Brig over at Ballinrobe, 8pm @ 20s was my ew punt yesterday evening which I'm already regretting as I reluctantly passed over the Rachel Blackmore ridden Ronova which is attracting a bit of market support.
RIP John Noakes, a children's tv legend for those of a certain era.

And Rachel Blackmore and Ronava win by the length of the straight <laugh><doh>.

Rachel must be up there among the best riders around at the moment. When you see the yards she has been riding winners for, you have to admire the performance even more. She makes the right decisions and allows her mount the best chance to win a race which can't be said for many others jocks. She caught the eye early on in to her career and whilst I must admit I thought her form would peter out, it's actually took an upward trajectory furthermore. Long may it continue for her.

Totally agree STH. I didn't see her first winner tonight but her second was a lovely bit of front running. In her last ride of the evening she had an outsider which she held up and then delivered a decent finish but only found Ruby and his mount to good. She's very good. From what I've read she doesn't come from a racing family and found rides very hard to come by in the early part of her career. So fair play to her. I always keep an eye out for her rides. She has one for the rather delightful Ellmarie Holden tomorrow. I'm opposing it which is insane.

Is She Diesel was another good ride, no doubt well handicapped but at the tight bend 3 furlongs out she booted her mount to go by Ruby and once she got the lead there it is almost impossible to reel a horse in unless it idles in front as it is a sharp track and hard to catch once the move is made at the right time, which is was.

Ballinrobe 19.00. I see Timiyan is having his first run for his new yard after 7 months off and is top rated by Timeform (only by 1lb and there is only 8lb between top and bottom rated) but at 10/1 could be a place bet
