Morning

Two Each/Way plays at Wolverhampton

2.00-Sister Of The Sign @ 13-2 [Marathon Bet]

4.05-Astraea @ 14-1 [Bet 365]

Ten Sovereigns is very weak in the Guineas betting, Out to 11/2 with Paddy Power it would seem to indicate that Magna Grecia is the stable number one. The Futurity winner is as short as 5/2 now and that must have been a long shot in itself going into the end of the 2018.

I have managed to get three of my ante-post bets injured in the build up and Persian King remains in France while the horse he beat cosily last season sits favourite for the race.

Just a saver now on Advertise at 10/1. I feel there are loads of underpriced horses in the market. They should drift on the day of the race.

Advertise 10/1 in the hope that the horse does not get hit by a falling piano in his box before Satuday.

Came with a good looking run LTO over track and trip before barging into eventual winner Magical Molly Joe, losing by a length in first run after a break. Only placed once in 10 starts, so risks attached, but this is a poor race and plenty of horses are out of form. Dropped a pound and 5lb claimer added.

Win: 5.8.
TBP3: 2.26.

The 6.50 Naas is very open and Joey O'Brien's Crockford will appeal to some near the foot of the weights off 79. Dermot Weld saddles top weight Zuenoon, who could progress further this year.

I went with I Am Superman, who is up 10 lbs to 89 but won with some authority last time and finished in the style of a horse who would get the extra distance tonight. He travelled well on the outside last time up and there is every reason to at least expect a good effort in the attempt to complete the double.

6.50 Naas I Am Superman 4/1

One for REM fans perhaps.

I work long hours so not a lot of time for studying the horses

Welcome Masher...I m known on here as Captain "each way value" Pops. I can't say I m one of the top tipsters..no wayyyy but one does their best. However I will put up on here definite VALUE on your each way play...:emoticon-0128-hi:

Good rudeboy how is you ? Life has been keeping me busy to much work and not much play !

at the moment i’m working horrid long shifts on a site , 7amtill 6 pm , no time for studying form , barely have a cursory look at cards , to be able to study properly you need to be either unemployed, extremely rich , retired or a combination of those !!
I know you like to look for an angle in races , which requires a fair bit of digging , so with lots of work that kind of thing goes out the window..........

No problem, it's nice when they fulfil the promise. It doesn't always happen by any means. 9/2 was a small bonus with the money being for Crockford. I have a pet hate of backing fancied/fav horses in Handicaps when the horse is still a maiden. It just never seems to prove profitable.

I Am Superman had the race in the bag pretty much after the jockey asked him to take closer order. I actually felt he might have gone too soon given the extra furlong to travel but he kept on really well. That will be him into three figures on the Handicap scale now and on tonight's evidence he looked worth a poke outside of Handicap company. He is entered up at Newmarket on Saturday in a Handicap but also has a Group 3 entry in the Amethyst on 12th May.
