I know, we had 50 runners and not 50 races.

    <laugh> A good rant nevertheless

I was looking at the early entries for that big bumper race at Newbury this coming Saturday and was gobsmacked to find NO John Ferguson runners entered <yikes> although there are 2 entries with trainer "unknown" <laugh>

morning folks, rubbish racing but just thought id let you know my fetlock in chilworth lass is running in the first at plumpton today. she had a bit of ringworm after her last run but is fine now. obbiously she will hopefully get handicapped after today. she has no pretensions to winning this on anything we've seen, (hope not as my cash ain't on) but may run a little better if she settles properly and will like the slightly quicker ground. though somehow plumpton has managed to find the only rain in the country overnight! anyway will be exciting seeing how she goes. good luck with your wagers.

Oddy, maybe he didn’t buy any horses from the DBS.

Alan King usually plots one up for this race. Look to the left and you’ll see a picture of the horse he did such a feat with in 2011.

Mr. King is having a cracking season Sir Barney, so much so that I was considering a small e/w wager on him for top Cheltenham trainer at 33/1. Quite an interesting quote for that heat, which pays 1-2-3 if I remember correctly.

SBC this year he has in Turn Over Sivola and a few others I think. Turn Over Sivola has been disappointing considering this is what King had to say before the start of the season.

Was ready to run last season then had a few issues and I always thought he was as good as Montbazon and I still do. He’ll debut in November

Yep, Alan King should have a good meet, methinks, and agree that 33/1 is a corking price (surprised that old Pip Hobbs is a similar price). Amazing, to see that Mr Nicholls is now 3rd fave in the 'top trainer' market at Cheltenham!

All the best Ches with the filly today. I suppose she'll be on the pace for most of the race. Nice price.

In the slogathon, the 15:45, I though the bottom one Ballinhassig with just 9.9 on his back, has the chance to make it two in a row over this course at this track. Each way value too.

    Plumpton. 15:45 Ballinhassig. EW.

Nass: Hope you had a good day at Towcester lad, don't have time to check yesterdays thread :)

Stick: I see you are still allowing the multi-account types to wind you up, thought the counselling had sorted that ;-)

Weird Al wont be 20s long for the Gold Cup peeps ;-) Looks the only viable danger to Long Run and Kautooooooooo unless Midnight Game can keep going which I doubt
