Did he really pull like a train or did the jockey pick a bit of a fight with him. He certainly broke fine and only got lit up when the jockey sought to find some cover. I just found it very odd that the jockey wanted to hold him up when he's been ridden prominently over hurdles in all his recent starts. Surely coming back down in trip on the flat your best option is to test the stamina of the other horses. I'm always very cynical about the motives of connections when a horse attracts plenty of market support during the day and then drifts like a barge prior to the race.
