Good Luck <ok>

EDISON KENT 6:10 Worcester 11/2
This horse has some very decent back form from its days in Ireland but seemed to really go off the boil when joining the Paul Webber yard. He has since moved to the James Owen yard in Newmarket which is a real up and coming outfit that are progressing from point to pointing and arabian racing and already seem to have a knack of finding horses that they can improve or get back on track. Interestingly they picked up another horse from Webbers that they have improved by around 20lbs.
The horse itself is interesting even without the connection to this yard. He ran in a very hot Class 2 at Newton Abbot a fortnight ago on stable debut and ran a very respectable race having being held up out the back for probably longer than he should have been. Todays race is a much easier looking Class 4 and it also another half a mile which should suit him perfectly.
At newton Abbot he raced from 4lbs out of the handicap and slightly bizarrely to me the BHA then dropped him 4lbs for that performance. In effect he runs from a mark 8lbs lower his last run and is dropped two grades.
I am slightly bemused to see that he has been on the drift but maybe the money will come late. They really know what they are doing and it would be a major shock to me if the yard were not all over this one today. He is also for sale in shares and no better way to get them sold than by winning a race or two.
Good luck if you are having a punt today.

The old leaves the Webber yard system. Good spot

Will definitely have a punt on Stick's tip at Worcester, looks a very interesting runner. For what it's worth (not much!) I also like Topofthecotswolds in the 14:40 Handicap Chase at the same venue. Has a squeak. Sam Twiston-Davies rides for his dad's yard. 5/1 best price in most places at time of writing.

I hope they win the first bumper as well.

Todays selections may not of won today, however, I certainly had a buzz from it and it made my miserable wet Monday morning into an exciting afternoon.
On to the next.

I dont like to blame jockeys but I thought she made a bit of a mess of it at the end of the back straight. Improved position and then allowed herself to get muscled out of it and shuffled back to last again. He is obviously a tricky customer (hood to start) so maybe that is why the market didnt scream for him. I dont think they will find too many softer races than that though.

At least we got a good run for our money
