That clearly shows the advantage of watching the market and the dangers of taking early prices. Ran keen came to take it up 2 out but weakened and eased down. That will do his handicap no harm and will surely come on for the run. Certain to run well in a similar event and worth an interest if a decent price. One for the notebook.
Murtaghs horse in 1st at Carlisle was 11/4@lunchtime but won@ 11/2. Topamichi 7/2 lunchtime lost @9/4 wouldn't read too much into price fluctuations
I told the lads at work first thing this morning that I fancied the McManus horse in the last at Worcester. I watched it all day and saw the price grow and grow. It was 9/2 last night and started at 14/1. McManus horses just dont drift like that and win...it did today and without a sodding penny of my money on it!
