Equally annoying is that a nights sleep knocked me off Paddy The Oscar who won at 33/1, I literally had it written out last night with the other 3 but waited till this morning for the prices to go out, looked again in the morning and jumped off for Somerby. Don't you ever bet EW? Not even with them sort of prices? Very true you should never change your bet I think we've all been guilty of that in the past and I'm sure we all will be in the future too its just one of those things
I think the last horse I backed e/w was Gathering Power at 8/1 in a sprint handicap in Ireland, she hacked up and ive never forgiven myself The type of horses im picking these days are mainly horses who have been well beaten recently, so there is good chance they could be well beaten again but with the potential to be capable of winning based on evidence from the past. Im trying to catch live ones who will be leaving recent form well behind and those ones are not out to place, the majority will be tailed off and the rare ones that I do catch should be going close to winning, so I dont see the sense in backing them e/w.
Can't argue with the logic. Most of me friends who bet are the same they go win or nothing. Me personally the majority of my bets are multiples usually (lucky 15's mainly) so if i pick a few at a price and get them placed its worth me going ew to make a profit (even a small one). I never bet big anyway just small stakes i can't afford it!
Boris your LSP this year has been second to none, you should keep records! Unlucky with the 2 2nds today, i managed to get on the last horse small stake ew so delighted with that.
