The (14:30) at Kelso, a Class-4 Handicap Hurdle over an extended 2m6f on soft ground, looks a competitive event with a 10-runner field. The probable favourite, Both Barrels, has been well-backed from an opening price of 9/2 down to the current 15/8. So, without further ado will stay with this Sadler's Rock gelding, even though the odds are meagre. Craig Nichol rides for the Don Whillans yard.
