Nice mares bumper at Plumpton tomorrow and of obvious interest would be Mister Fisher's half-sister Miss Fisher (10/10 for the name). She is out of the same mare (That's Amazing) as Mister Fisher but by relatively new sire Libertarian (2nd to Ruler Of The World for Godolphin in the Derby and then a fair 4th in the Leger). 9/4 this evening with Bet365 and her trainer, Lieutenant Henderson, boasts a 30% win strike rate at the course. Next at 11/4 is FOB's Irish Point winner Victorias Peak, and she certainly has the benefit of experience. My arrow however has landed on
Cool Stone, trained by Alan King, who has a tremendous 31% win strike rate at the track. Her dam Stoney Path has had a few winners, including Stoney's Treasure for the same connections. 9/2 with Bet365 this evening.
EDIT: As I am writing this some other firms have opened a book and Honeyball's Precious heads the general market at around 9/4 with Miss Fisher 7/2. I can't say her pedigree screams winner but the yard clearly has to be respected. I'll stick with Cool Stone though
