Mossey Joe 13/8 in the Irish hunter looks a fair price. Has Warne to beat in what appears to be a match.
I had very poor internet access at the weekend, but I'd like to say thanks to Brough Tiger for pointing me at Barizan Good shout fella
Mossey Joe interested me also Bob but the money for Warne worries me and for that reason I'll be happy to watch.
going a have a wee punt on a double this evening.Living next door at killarney and reverb in the lucky last at towy both to win at 7/2.
Did any of you hear that bit of news regarding the BHA investigating the run of Ginger Jack at Ripon on April 27th? Very interesting, and curious as to why it wasn't picked up on the day. Held up on the bridle at the rear of the field with the horse pulling for it's head, seemed to ignore gaps, and went looking for cover until well inside the final furlong. The official race description says "ridden and no extra" - I'd dispute that word ridden! I went and watched it again on the website and it seems so blaatant once you are looking for it.
I'm more than happy to take the 13/8 about Mossey Joe. Love him but its such a shame he never really lived up to his immense potential.
Shout Rudeboy. Mini Boil over in the maiden there and nice runs from the third and fourth..very few got into that heat.
I remember that incident and redolent of Cassela Park tbh. To a lesser degree the fourth horse in the 6.20 at Windsor was given only one backhand flick behind the saddle and finished fourth. Stoute had clearly instructed Moore to look after the horse and this was in effect schooling in public. The horse could easily have finished third and i'm sure some were on e/w and would have collected. The rules of racing state that horses must be ridden to optimise their finishing position...this one clearly wasn't and it won't even be commented on...except by me! Cheating?...in my view very much so.
been busy, only just seen the result, didn't see the race-- he's a genuine horse though, keeps finding.. stable will be worth a close watch for a week or three now-- did a small double with callisto moon in the 700 --he lost by the same amount Noble Witness won by-- thats racing !
Disappointed by the performance of some of the film buffs on here today. Charlton Heston wasn't in Ulzana's Raid (it was Burt Lancaster) which is a knuckle-dragging thugfest in which Robert Aldrich (not for the only time) shoehorns in the anti-racist monologues to offset the gratuitously unpleasant violence. Blazing Saddles, on the other hand, is up there alongside Mozart, Shakespeare and Einstein. Take more water with it, Oddy. (Reebok: in case you missed it, I sent you a PM last week about a man with a red nose).
