Punchestown 2.50 Balkos Eyecatching handicap debut last November at Thurles when 6 of 16. Racing Post comment: "Held up, 8th after 4 out, going well in 6th briefly before 3 out until soon lost place, dropped to moderate 8th before straight, left moderate 7th at last where slight mistake, kept on into never threatening 6th, not hard ridden, coughing post race (vet said gelding was coughing post race)" Could be another winner for decent jockey Philipp Enright.
Lingfield 1.35 Dorado Dollar Just watched the replay of his chase debut at Leicester last time. Jumped and travelled well until weakening 2 out. Today back over 2 m 4 f on slower ground could suit more.
Lingfield 2.40 Sergeant Brody Accelerates well in testing conditions and will be keeping on when many others have enough.Decent pilot takes off 5lb. At 8/1 worth an each way bet.
Accelerates? He’s a 102 rated staying hurdler. As such I’d suggest “plods” to replace that word in your analysis
Sorry couldn’t resist that. my thoughts are - Heavenly Promise - not the cleanest bumper of hurdles or fences. They did a remarkable job to get so much out of him this season. Now back over hurdles off a lower mark than chasing, so must have chances. She is what she is, nothing hidden in terms of her class. She can win this but I prefer the top one. Very Live - in my book he dogged it again on stable debut when well found in the market. Young Brace had it all on to get him to consent to race! He’s obviously a rogue, but if anyone can get him straight it would be this yard. At double figures I think he needs to be looked at as a saver if you fancy anything else in the race. I’ve not spoken to Sally about the jockey choice, but it might be that a young girl who knows him from the yard can keep him sweet. If they get him racing properly then he is remarkably well handicapped on his ability.
Ok, I like heavenly promise and will be backing it I also like very live but, shimba hills was tipped for me a couple of weeks ago by my mate who rides out for the trainer only for the card to be abandoned, I think it was fontwell. I haven’t heard from him today and I don’t like revisiting a horse that was primed three weeks ago so may well go with the fob horse.
Maybe the much touted (by him) work firewall has finally been installed. SBC has always been clear that he’d only engage on here when he was being paid by someone to do it.
afternoon, fellas! lingfield,1 05: well, flaminger is obviously in the form of his life at present, and will surely give another good account today, but not sure,he can give that weight away to Course specialist FINNEGANS GARDEN.he absolutely loves this place, goes on the Ground and distance, and gets weight from all others,so should have a big shout here..
The Gipper for me after he was mentioned on the forum several times. Deserves to get head his head in front today
yes, good Chance too, especially on his earlier useful hurdles form in his Career..but i think,my fella will give his usual honest running today.
