Christ 20 runners in the mares race - definitely a much sterner test for Quevega than last year. I see that Tom George mare who ran and fell in the Dovecote is running - 33/1, place chances ................

I'm really pleased with that, Oddy, and so should you be- you've got two excellent prices for those two and both are underrated with potential improvement- two decent arrows to give a run for your money <ok>

I took a chance on Simenon at some quite silly odds after Trifolium hammered him, and my 3 other AP bets on the race were all arse about face (Samain, Make Your Mark, and Captain Conan). Something about the way Simenon made good headway when asked to and the way he went away from the rest of the field, despite not making any inroads on Trifolium. I just hoped that the strong pace in a Supreme would really help him. Agent Archie was one I kept seeing pop out at me in the entries and I was awaiting a run from him,so I took a chance on him as well knowing that if he hacked up at Newcastle he might earn an entry alongside Cinders and Ashes. The way he quickened clear easily from Ingleby Spirit on debut was good and he has also jumped pretty well. I expect him to improve for good ground. They are however, two outsiders but at least its an angle covered. I'm lucky to have one running, never mind two- I thought I'd have no runners for the Supreme a few weeks ago!

Looking through the A-P thread, one or two of you sitting on some Prospect Wells vouchers, someone on a very tasty 33/1 Cinders and Ashes voucher, an 11/1 Steps To Freedom ticket also.

You just know Darlan is going to win by 6 lengths now. <laugh>

Oddy, regarding the Telegrapg competition: You can enter tomorrows selections from 1pm today <ok>

Ooh good news, my e/w Champion Chase selection is going to run against Sizing Europe- Realt Dubh.
