There's never an in-between with Robert Winston, he's either really really good, or really really ****, reminds me of Spencer, some of the rides he does are brilliant and it's like watching a master at work, but jesus some of them are so bad. Could tell Angel of the south was the best horse in that race by a mile and he held it up and rear and on to it until about half a furlong left so it flys at the finish but so it's too late, Spencer is also the master of that

At 2/1 it looks a great bet, however for me who has only just seen this the evens on offer at the moment doesn't tempt me so i've chucked a few quid at Potters Point @ 7s with no more than a little bit of hope that it can reverse the form with the fav
 
A few NH races to finish the card at Roscommon this evening. Georges Conn @ 16s, 8.20. Awful strike rate but has run well in a good few valuable handicaps. He's 7lb better off with Auvergnat for a 4 length beating lto. I'll probably regret swerving the Holden/Blackmore Static Jack which has halved in price since yesterday evening. Gwencilly Berbas @ 11/4, 8.50. Best horse in the race and would be even money if trained by Mullins or Elliott. Singles and an ew double.
