It is a really interesting tactic using the WFA allowance at this time of year in 3yo+ handicap hurdles. Nigel Hawke had one bolt up recently at Chepstow. The clever thing about that one today was it is a conditional riders race so they can go again in the coming week without a penalty if the horse is up to it.
more so given the low marks the juveniles are getting due to the weakness of the division. That Chepstow run was pretty good and he had a sub 120 mark for it!
having a look there are two out tomorrow (In the same race 4.00 Hereford) the fav looks very interesting especially as she has moved down the road to a proper NH yard
Agreed she has to improve by about half a stone! But the fact She has won, moved to Warrens Greatrex and being out of Camelot the winter underfoot conditions will suit her a lot more than Gino ?!?
I’ve not checked but was the day they met the day Hen bolted at the start? She is better than her mark but is a right rascal too
I would over the jumps and I think there is far more improvement off het current mark than Gino she looks very talented and as I say just think the conditions will suit more
