Yep, Nigel obliging not once but twice has been one of the highlights of the Flat term thus far for me. I still think he’s still reasonably perched on 86 and wouldn’t rule out further success to boot – especially when you consider that his relatives have almost all improved with age (Duncan won the Irish St Leger as a 6YO and old boy Samuel the Doncaster Cup at the same age). Longer term I’d love to see him over timber. Cor blimey imagine what the combination of Nigel and Mr Henderson, the forum’s favourite trainer, could achieve.
