Anyone want to hazard a guess what their security costs us a year, and who pays for it? Likewise, who pays for Royal Visits up and down the country?
I used to dislike the Frogs but I found the ones in the South of France (and even some in Paris) to be generous and helpful. I like them now.
£101m a year Security paid by The Met. Royal Visits are paid for by the council who is hosting them. So not there.

I read their "flat" cost £4.5m to do up, but they paid for BOTH of the kitchens in this "20 room flat". Is it just me or is a 20 Room flat a bit of an oxymoron?
I'm not envious of what they have (although I'd certainly prefer not to pay for it) but I'd mostly just like not to hear or see anything about it, as if it's in any way important to my existence.
