Say what you like, either way. Fact is though, apart from the initial good run results have been generally poor, signings have not performed.
Bizarre team selections, poor & badly timed substitutions, no plan B when things are going wrong. Now I'm not fully blaming MON for this but at the end of the day football is a results orientated business & we are worse off now than under Bruce.

It's also an entertainment industry & by God, there's been precious little of that so far. He can't get the team to play 451, 442 or 433. What's gone wrong?

    Is it **** true.

Calling a manager with the experience, stature and track record of Martin O'Neill a 'deluded ****er' is just about the most pathetic, idiotic comment I've ever heard on these boards in years mate. Granted he has had a very topsy turvy 15 months here at the SOL, reaching an FA Cup quarter final and rescuing a hapless 2011/12 which we were all happy with but has with out doubt struggled this term. Thats football sometimes and its not like he has had 40 years of continual success here to measure against is it? He is not operating with his team yet and unlike a Mancini, has not got a bottomless pit of money to rebuild it in less than 15 months.

I hear people saying that Laudrup has done better at Swansea and Clarke at WBA but in all fairness, both of them were left far better players/squad and a club on the up by their predeccessors than MON was by Bruce. Rodgers went on to Liverpool and Hodgson to the England job and neither where sacked because they were ****e as Bruce was? And just where did Bruce go? Back to a division he is more suited to finding players from. He left a championship squad and a losers mentality for MoN to pick up the pieces of.

You deserve dogs abuse yourself for saying this mate imo and thats what you will get if you persisit with it.

Hey well **** you too pal.

I have never ever in any post you can show me said that I either didn’t support the manager, or wanted him out but what I did say is I was totally sick of being a failure as a club and if we cant do it under one of the games top managers then we may well never do so. I remain absolutely supportive of Martin O'Neill.

Try and get your ****ing facts right before you come on here spouting your usual inane drivel. I care not one jot that you either like or dislike my opinions or my tone? Is that clear enough for you?

Also, just to reiterate for the intellectually challenged like yourself, this is a football forum and of course everyone is entitled to their opinion, including me, who can give dogs abuse to anyone I choose if they deserve it. If that person chooses to ignore or comment thats their choice.

This is not a meeting of old mates its a ****ing internet forum.

Bang out of order again Cest, just because it's an internet forum doesn't mean you cant speak to people with respect. I will reply to it properly when I get a spare 10mins at work.

You command about as much respect as long John silva s parrot ,look I understand that you are upset that people are not happy with the man you love but like you said it's a forum people have opinions .treat people how you expect to be treated yourself give abuse get it back drivvel over

What part of I dont give a **** are you struggling to understand children?

As for being 'smashed' and 'always apologising'?

You do make me giggle you little numb headed plum.

I also notice in your constant drivel and incredibly boring comments (every ****ing day I might add) that whilst slagging off the current manager with consumate ease, you also fail miserably (every ****ing day i might add) to come up with credible alternatives to the situation?

You see its always easy to moan and groan on like a ****ing old woman but slightly more taxing to come up with answers that have a debatable point to them. I do blame Bruce for this mess as its still his ****e squad we are having to operate with on the whole and when I wanted him out my very credible alternative wa sthe man we have.

Who is your O'Neill replacement? Martinez maybe? The biggest joke manager in the EPL?

There you go again straight back to Martinez why? And tbh why is he a joke please explain because he doesn't get Wigan into Europe ?he still might there in a semi final of a cup were are we?martinez doesn't have the funding that oneil has had and even thou were above them in the league not by much anyway I'm more worried about us going down.i might fail at making points on here but it is a forum and while your right it's not a friends meeting it's is a safc forum so you'd think there would be a bit of respect shown on here .i might not be at the same intellectual level as you master yoda frankly could not care less because if all you can do is put people down with your sad abuse what does that say about you as a person.as for oneil judging by the form guide a ****ing monkey could come in a have as much chance at succeeding as oneil ,what's your argument for keeping the bloke ,hay season tickets might be cheaper if we're in the championship ?

I must say cest, that for all your posts which are like full chapters. Your football knowledge comes across as very limited.

O'Neill is still working with Bruces squad is a ****ing joke of an excuse after 3 transfer windows.

Instead of Bridge, The Greek, Cuellar, McFadden, Saha, N'Diaye, Graham, Mangane. Why didn't he sign quality players (like our neighbours have done in January). Believe me has had plenty of time to put his squad together and after the time he has had it should really be taking hold and pushing forward now. It's not, we have stood still, at best.

I did Billy, but only because I couldn't say that was a bad signing by MON as it was what 99% of us wanted. Johnson has let everybody down, so far. I also missed Rose off because he has been a really good signing its just a shame about the injuries.

The best players in the spine of our team were all Bruces. Mignolet, O'Shea and Catts.

If I was Ellis Short I would wait till the end of the season then within the first week of the season being over I would sack MoN

if we have survived then we need to go out and get a young, fresh manager with plenty of idea's and positive idea's at that and I would also like us to go for a foreign manager, there is four that I would take....

Marcelo Bielsa (before anyone says I know he aint young)
    Michael Laudrupp
    John Van Den Brom
    Roberto Martinez

once a new manager is in place then they need to be backed in the transfer market. Our current squad on the whole is very, very poor, it is totally one paced, lacks creativity but the main thing it just lacks ability we need the likes of Mignolet, Sessegnon and Fletcher believing in the managers new idea's and then lets bloody well go out there and bring in some quality from Europe like Newcastle have with players of the same ability of the likes of Sess not plodders.

If the worst happens and we go down then we need to do what Swansea done when they decided they wanted to stamp there mark and play a positive brand of football. I dunno who we could get maybe a Gus Poyet could come in, get the likes of Wickham, McClean and N'Diaye as the main men and add quality young players from around the league and from Europe and then look to get up at the first attempt.
