This is all we need. It's a couple of midfielders we want, not a new manager.

It would be a disaster if true. There is no other Harry Rednapp out there to save Sunderland. I hope it is not true

It is ****e refereeing like that that gets managers the sack, who the hell was he?, just watched match of the day and he was horendous their 2nd goal should not have counted and that 'pen' as a joke, they fall about like spastics and get away with it. they are taking the piss again. That is why i am glad England did not get the world cup to shove it up the FA !.

Fine with the silver fox, good manager and hope he gets the full 8 years. Plenty to be said for continuity. Man U didn't sack Fergie in 89 (3 years in I think) when he had them hovering above relegation zone at Xmas after spending a fortune on Ince etc. Moyes didn't get the bullet when they were just above relegation year after Europe and 15 games in or so. Modern football is a joke. 4 managers in the PL have had genuine time. Pulis, SAF, Wenger, Moyes. Common theme? Time brings stability and consistency.

No good being fairweather, only liking it when goings good and then turning at the first sign of trouble. We'll get out of it and fortunately the league is remaining very tight. Head says a defeat tomorrow though with 13 out. 3-1 to us it is then

O'Neill just needs time. And a creative central midfielder to control the pace of a game.

Did someone just mention Pardew in the same breath as Fergie.

I must be high, they couldn't have, surely?

Lets hope the doubters don't get their wish. My opinion is simple in that we need to be patient as currently we aren't good enough to play the way MON wants. He knows this and sets us up to be hard to beat/defensive, he will need time to build his team but judging by certain reactions???

Not quite. I think you must be high or your reading is deteriorating in your old age Mush. Time I think may have been the point, I suspect you knew this though
