I think we've all seen too many Hollywood films where the maverick hero constantly breaks the rules and disobeys his stupid boss and miraculously comes out on top. In reality they usually **** up.
Yup..maybe if they both agree to cease any further public conversation. Keep it in house until resolved. While the media won't like it but **** them lol; that really is the way it should be carried out. A siege mentality if you will. It stays within the club and anyone found to be talking to the press ie leaking gets disciplined..be it player, manager or security guard! It would mean of course us fans might whinge if we think the manager is doing nothing but praise his team but we'd have to trust that the right things are being said behind doors and that if a player is dropped for non injury reasons there is a good reason for it.
And that comes back to my original point I'm not pro sakho or pro klopp just want the best solution. The best solution may be to sell sakho and get VVD
Most of you believe that Virgil van Dijk is a very good defender, is Southampton willing to exchange for Sakho?.
Talking of settling internal disputes (not do much Sakho) I assume that's what the pfa does all the time. I mean as a footballer, if you genuinely think you're being treated unfairly or say bullied in the work place...the pfa helps with reconciliation. I'm sure there a loads of cases on minor things that happen out of the public eye...
You'd like to think so. If Yaya and Guardiola can settle differences then i'm sure Klopp and Mama could
Sounds good to me. Saurez is a player who could play well into his 30's as his game doesn't rely on pace!
Van Dijk will be chased by all the big clubs this summer, and he'll end up going for somewhere between £40-50m imo.
there are specific instragram posts of hhis with arms round yuonger player doing preseason etc. he started the posting while we had the team still on tour.
for me just as a note: Klopp ran the absolute bollox out of his players on preseason with 3 sessions per day and frankly sakho missed those. IMO if klopp wants to say he is not fit enough (he played zero preseason games as i recall) then klopp is entitled to say he's not up to the fitness of the other players.... now... ok ... was matip or can.. no... but If sakho didn't feel he was getting respect out of it perhaps he should have realised on the plane home that his goofing around messing on social media and sticking his head into klopp's interview that time is something to give a miss to... but he ploughed on giving updates of how much of a warrior he is etc etc. He never learned a lesson IMO. As such him being put in u23s was no shock as was attempt to sell in summer which sakho blocked as was selling in January which sakho blocked... and frnakly him playing on loan in the nether regions of the prem and adding 10mil to his fee is gold for me.... I really feel when klopp says fit he really means FIT and if sakho would care to disagree fine thats up to him he has an office door to knock on. If you or I worked in a business and had an open door to knock on... or i suppose recourse up the chain such has it is... say assistant manager, then manager then whoever ayre... but instead we chose to mouth off about our company on social media and its then reported and in next press briefing theres constant questions to manager about it... well we would be fired wouldn't we. Footballers just think they are celebrities rather than part of a team. to Build a TEAM you don't need social media warriors imo. plus another interesting point is... name 3 top footballers who are actively winning stuff that are doing this. I'm not sure I can.... most all the top players don't use it. if found this for you to peruse http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/10/04/the-50-most-influential-footballers-on-social-media/ it makes interesting reading unitl you realise... not so many make personal comments themselves. ronaldos is a cult of celebrity and 99% look at how good i look snaps plus buy this or buy that crap. its not real.... In many ways sakho to me looks like a petty geordie shore wannabee compared to these guys marketing run campaigns.
excellent way to put it. There are FEW better than him in the prem... very few. like alderweirld for example. Across europe there are probably more disciplined and tactically adept players frankly.. but none more "talented". Bonucci is probably the only one whos got it all. but there are prob quite a few who would hold a position better or be better organsiers EVERY top prem club will be after him and southampton will be delighted as usual.
Yeah, my sister sent me a link about that. I think it means that if we got £100m for Ford, and a further £100m for selling Mane, Firminho, Matip, Moreno, Sakho, Migs and Lallana, then FSG MIGHT let Jurgen use that money to by fifty 17-year-old 'Next Messi/Neymar/Ronaldo/Pele/Maradonna/Puskas/Palmer 'certainties'.
