Davies got the Sky MoM. Backs to the wall display, but you need some luck with that, and it ended up all for nothing. Late goals were like the Bruce era too, though in these kind of games we normally conceded early goals, so an improvement.

I couldn't really make my mind up between Jake and Clucas but Sam got the vote in the end. Apart from Diomande I thought everyone played well and the odd mistake apart we deserved the draw. We won't have to face that much pressure and that much quality many times this season. Good effort lads.

Davies - another magnificent England-worthy performance. Ibra where were you?
Jakupovich - three brilliant saves kept it close. Has to stay #1.
Clucas - young lad gets better every game. Hoddle must be very proud.

Honorable mention...Livermore...Jake I've left you out every week but you were great again. Should stay at CH with Curtis.
 
I would say Davies, but for Snodge going off injured. I fear it might be one injury too many for him. Davies is going to win it anyway!

I agree. I can't see a reason to move Jake into the midfield.

The Jak - how is Marshall going to take his place in current form?!
