Davies, aside from the slip, was actually good. Made some great last ditch tackles and interceptions. But whatever the **** he was doing for that first goal, God only knows. McGregor was yelling for the pass back, Davies looked up and saw that then decided to run towards our goal with the ball under pressure, probably thinking about trying a Cruyff turn. More than likely just didn't want to pass back to neatly retain posession so as to avoid being jeered and bood our forwards sheep who would have yelled at him.
He might try giving his half time gee up talk at the beginning and vice versa. Thats one he probably hasn't tried yet… OR HAS HE!!!?
