His crossing was good. Need to have someone there to put the ball in the net though.

Sometimes there have been bad crosses. I remember I think it was the first half of last season when Elmo was just awful (but, as always, considered undroppable). But when there are good crosses we do need the tactics and strikers for it. At least now we have cros fsserom other sources than just Elmo. With corners as well, we get a reasonable number but the times we trouble the keeper from them are few. It's hard to even get excited when we get a corner as we score from them so rarely.

Well, I would happily compare Robertson's crosses yesterday to those of Danny Rose today. Similarly, Elmo must be one of the best crossers of the ball in the league. Not their fault if there are not enough in there anticipating or attacking the ball

    1) Hayden

    2) Huddlestone

    3) Taylor

nb. It is way too easy to have Robertson as no.1 but our midfield ran the game and deserve to be mentioned considering how little game time they get, well 2 of them anyway.

Sorry Robbo but you win enough and Yes you did have an outstanding game.

Sam Clucas is easily our best crosser of a ball. Great signing that one.

Really? I've never really been struck by anything he does as being particularly impressive. He's just a hard-working, decent all rounder isn't he?

Clucas is one that is continually going to get better, he has a very impressive technique on him, just lacks experience. I think he needs building up a bit more physically too, you might see him more bulky for next season, a bit of power behind him and he could really be a very good player indeed.
