Even after a much needed win ans an all round display some people still can't resist having a dig at Bruce Jnr. They obviously didn't see how he played Saturday as well as last night. Give him a break you bigots.

I notice that a lot of people have named Brady in their top three and I probably would have too if it wasn't for his dead ball attempts, which were woeful again, although he wasn't the only one. We really need to improve that side of our game and I hope it is something that Phelan has already spotted and will do his best to improve upon.
And similarly Meyler. OK, it wasn't his best-ever game but he still worked like a Trojan in terms of breaking up play etc, and that even after covering the most ground of any player in the Man City game. Surprised to see moaning on here about him ... epecially given the Twitter stuff in the press. Give the guy a break. We've improved massively in terms of commitment and fight since he's been restored to the side IMHO.

It's a fair point - he did well in open play but the set-pieces were poor. I reckon Ramirez is our best set-piece man, but his were no great shakes last night either.
How many did he actually take? I don't remember a corner apart from two taken by Ramirez. There was a disappointing free kick I'll give you that. This isn't the first time someone's marked Brady down for set pieces when he actually hardly took any.
