Agreed. I'd rest him for Stoke and bring big Abdi in. If Davies takes Crouch we need someone to mark Shawcross at corners.
Because his distribution was far better than either of the other two centre backs and he had to move across to right back numerous times, where as the other two centre backs had their positions easy due to not having to move and making them look better. Before the game Bruce even said Chester can move to full back, which he did, which i doubt Bruce or Davies could of done, but due to Chesters quality he did. On topic.... Sagbo Meyler Elmohammady Sagbo's hold up play was excellent, Meyler made some great runs, won headers and got stuck in and Elmo put in the cross of the night.
The journey down was pretty **** with annoying twats of little kids not shutting the **** up. But a good night to be fair. Elmo Bruce Sagbo
1. Sagbo 2. Elmohamady (who's cost us about ten goals this season, so still has a long way to go to fully redeem himself) 3. Meyler (he's had about six good games since he joined, and thankfully this was one of them) PS. Did anyone else notice that the attendance was 1,000 less than that for our Tuesday-night Division Four game at the KC in September 2003?
Sagbo Elmo Bruce As for resting a player I think Livermore needs it more than anyone ,he really hasn't done himself justice in his last couple of games.
Result: Sagbo Elmohammady Bruce Sagbo got the seasons highest individual score with 129, beating Davies from Villa at home by 1 point, though Davies got all 1st places that day apart from 1 off the top of my head. Elmo also got over 100 points, making him the fourth this season: Davies (v Norwich, Man City, Villa and Everton), Huddlestone (v West Ham) and Sagbo (also v Swansea) the others. I'm pretty sure this is the first time since I've been running this that any games had 2 players score over 100 points.
