We had a good view, but it was way better in the old away end, it's hard to support the team when you're up in the gods, it must be hard for the players to hear you .

Apparently the Sunderland fans didn't hear a peep out of us today.

    Bit rich eh?

    Their support was dire.

Weird that, considering I heard us quite a lot on my live stream.

Heard us a lot on the highlights packages I've seen, and from some of the tweets the players certainly enjoyed our support.

    I don't do Twitter.

What have they said and more importantly was I mentioned personally?

Oh well they mentioned a particularly attractive supporter, thought they meant me, might have meant you... doubt it though.

    ;)

Just the usual, but a lot of praise for the travelling supporters.

    Here's a few:

    shane long ‏@Shanelong009 5h
3 points, managed to grab a goal, ireland win in the ruggers....today is a good day!!

    Curtis Davies #6 ‏@TheCurtisDavies 2h
Great to have that winning feeling back, a MASSIVE 3 points. Great for big Jela to get off the mark too. Need to keep that up on Tues #HCAFC

    Ahmed Elmohamady ‏@Elmo_27 6h
Massive win today, lads was class as usual, great support from the fans #UTT

    Tom Huddlestone ‏@Huddz8 5h
Massive game and massive result needed today! Great team performance buzzing for the new lads with their goals

    my personal fave:

    Stephen Harper ‏@steveharper37 4h
Huge win today for @hullcityteam & to have @sonealuko back too. I got some grief for my 20yrs & the 6pts & 2 clean sheets off Sunderland too

Nice dig there by Harps into the Sunlan fans.

    1. Livermore
    2. Long
    3. Jelavic

Really, it was a wonderful all round team performance. Was Rosenior injured? I thought his first half was superb - even starting to get some decent crosses in!

Aye, Brucey said post-match that Rosey picked up a hamstring knock. Probably just a precaution.

We should play Harper every time we face a North East club. He's played 3 games and got 3 clean sheets.

Now this is hard to call but call it i must.

    1) Jake Livermore

    2) Paul McShane

    3) David Meyler (would have been Liam Rosenior if he had not gone off injured @ half-time.)

The beauty of the game is its subjectivity, I guess. How anyone can omit Shane Long after a display like that...

Its tickles its what he does. His mates usually put the bargain bucket on his head once the game starts to keep him quiet. Like you put the cover over the budgies cage to shut em up...
