The same as Carmine. I thought Meyler was outstanding today.

What has happened to Thudd though?
He should have been up for it today to prove to Spurs they were wrong for letting him go.

Brady's heads gone it would seem, no nerve, no bottle, no clue frankly, would seem he is frightened to get injured again.

Referee ruined it in second half, penalising some great tackles. Figueroa once again a liability.

I would have taken a point at the start of the day, after those 90 minutes though it feels like a defeat.

He's just come back from injury which he hasn't recovered from fully yet, what do you expect?

Then why risk him again? Boyd was an almost majestic replacement for Brady when he went off. Evidently doesn't have to rush him back, so why bother? Make sure the lad is 100%, right in body and in mind and then bring him back and let us see the brilliance of the earlier season Brady.

I just hope he keeps his chin up and grafts on in training, the last thing we want is another Cameron Stewart!

Ridiculously harsh on Brady, he clearly hasn't recovered and from my position about 15 yards from Brucey I could see him talking about the injury from about 40 mins. For the first 30 or so he looked good and had some great interplay with Long on the edge of the box when he went wide and tried to chip the keeper. Give him time.

Macca. and Harper just miss out.Good all round team effort, after the last two games should give all connected with Hull City AFC a boost, even some of the dismal jemmies who post on here.

    Onwards and upwards.

Perhaps. I was a great fan of his in the earlier part of the season and so want to see him back to his best.

My assessment on him was based on the second half performance as that is what I saw most of (being in the east stand). His lack of tracking back, his inability to beat his man or choose the right ball wound me up.

I am not a fan of rushing him back, why is he starting games if he is not fit?

I think his injury is difficult to predict so he doesn't know it's going to hurt until it hurts. I think Boyd should have come on earlier today though as he made us a much stronger side.

The positives though, as I have been a right grumpy **** in this thread are thus:

Jelavic and Long seem to work together well, really well infact. Some of the link up play between the two is what we have been crying out for, for so long. Jela's assist for Long's goal was beautiful, I was still gushing about it 10 minutes after it happened, and brilliant composed finish from Long too. I like how they were speaking to each other when the ball was out for a prolonged period of time too.

Long, he's a bloody hard grafter isn't he? Very much liked the pressure he applied to Spurs and didn't allow them most time. Boyd was ace when he come on. Meyler was immense too. Huddlestone is getting less and less time on the ball (i.e. he's being closed down a lot more quickly) which is why he has had a supposed downturn in form, do not worry!

Harper is more than capable of stepping in for McGregor.

Cannot agree on Figgy...for me he was poor again. Positioning, distribution and anticipation
